FOX has switched things up on MasterChef Season 4 and instead of running two new episodes on one night, they went with an encore presentation and then an all-new episode and only one home cook will be leaving us each week, but who went home on MasterChef 2013 Season 4 last night? It was nice having to sit through only one new hour of Master Chef 2013 last night. Don’t get me wrong, I love this show and I want to see more and more of it, but two hours of it can be a little too much for me. I want them to extend it out so it lasts longer and not cram into fewer weeks!
Last night was Mystery Box Challenge and Elimination Test time for the nine remaining home cooks. In the Mystery Box, the contestants had to create sausages for the judges. Eddie took home the victory and it allowed him to chose the ingredients in the Elimination Test, which he chose mushrooms.
The twist: half would cook with canned mushrooms and the other half would cook with fresh mushrooms on MasterChef 2013 Season 4. Eddie was safe in the challenge, so he got to sit back and watch! Despite getting fresh mushrooms, Bethy struggled with the challenge and the judges decided to send her home over Jordan. Sometimes I am surprised with the people in the bottom and this was one of those times.
